The Visitor Centre tells the multi-faceted story of diamonds, this includes the story of the people that sought them, the tools they used and the wealth they generated.

In the Visitors Centre guests will have the opportunity to join a tour with an information officer, every hour on the hour starting from 09:00 in the morning. The last tour is at 16:00 in the afternoon. The Visitors Centre is open every day of the year except for Christmas Day. We are open from 08:00 in the morning until 17:00 in the afternoon. Access to the Old Town is free at all times.

Week-end Tour Times    : Every second hour on the hour:   09h00,   11h00,   13h00 and  15h00

The Big Hole is closed on Christmas Day.

Disabled visitors are welcome as the whole complex is wheelchair-friendly. Provision is made for mothers with babies in the restroom. No firearms or pets are alowed on the premises. Photos can be taken, except in the movie theatre and at the diamond display.

Accommodation and refreshments are available on the premises. For your peace of mind we have qualified first-aid staff on duty throughout the day.

We accept master/visa cards. Unfortunately no cheques are accepted.
